Policies
Policies are the laws and procedures that outline the rules all staff members at Al-Rakeezeh Foundation must adhere to in carrying out daily operations. They represent the most essential guiding principles that give these policies high credibility and ensure consistent and compliant implementation.
Below is a summary of these policies:
Financial Controls
At Al-Rakeezeh Foundation, our financial controls and daily expenditure policies aim to ensure that beneficiaries, donors, partner institutions, and all stakeholders are fully informed of the procedures we follow to minimize the risk of fraud and safeguard the organization’s assets.
Security Procedures
As a locally led, non-governmental organization with strong acceptance from both the community and governmental authorities, our position forms a vital asset for sustaining our work and services. This has enabled us to operate effectively in challenging environments across various governorates, including those that have experienced different forms of terrorism.
Procurement Policy
The Foundation and its partners are committed to ensuring that all materials, supplies, and services are procured by authorized staff from reputable suppliers within the country. This is done while ensuring adequate quantities, competitive pricing, and timely delivery — all carried out with complete transparency.
Employment Policy
At Al-Rakeezeh, we believe in equal employment opportunities for all individuals regardless of race, color, gender, religion, age, or any other status not professionally relevant. This policy applies to hiring, advertising vacancies, selecting trainees, and providing any other services offered by the Human Resources Department.
Complaint Policy
Receiving feedback and responding to complaints is a crucial part of improving our institution. Ensuring that our stakeholders can hold us accountable leads to enhanced quality across our work. All complaints are handled seriously, investigated promptly by the appropriate staff member, and the results of these investigations are shared with the complainants.
Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, and Anti-Fraud Policy
Our work fully complies with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements in Iraq. We are committed to conducting our operations fairly, transparently, and in line with the highest ethical and legal standards. The Foundation follows a “zero-tolerance” approach toward fraud, bribery, and corruption, including their detection, reporting, and investigation.
Code of Conduct Policy
In line with our vision and values, Al-Rakeezeh Foundation upholds the highest standards of ethical behavior among all employees and affiliated individuals. The expected conduct is clearly outlined to every contractor upon engagement, forming an integral part of all employment contracts. These rules apply at all times, and violations of the Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including termination.
